Brain Hemorrhage
A Brain Hemorrhage is a critical medical condition occurs due to an unexpected stroke to a person when blood vessels break, allowing blood leaks out in the brain. The reason behind this condition is rapture in the wall of blood vessel, resulting blood spills out of the artery and get into the region where vital tissues and cells of brain inhabit. This leaking blood kills those tissues and cells. Consequently, patient becomes critically ill and in such scenario patient requires immediate medical attention.
Though in several cases Brain Hemorrhage happens just in a flare without warning, some symptoms can be warning bell for the condition and you should be vigilant for the qualified common brain injury symptoms. And, most common symptoms of Brain Hemorrhage are: a sudden and very intense headache and vomiting/nausea. If you feel
paralyzed or sense numbness in body organs, then consult your doctor immediately. Certain people are more prone to Brain Hemorrhage thus should be conscious about possible symptoms that point towards a trouble. People with high blood pressure, weak blood vessels, or certain cancers, plus those who use drugs may all have at higher risks for a hemorrhage. High blood pressure is especially concerning, as the blood vessel walls become stressed with time and may be more likely to break. The elderly may also be more susceptible to hemorrhage, as vessels typically weaken with age.
In a research, it has been revealed that if a person uses anticoagulant therapy, his/her chances of getting Brain Hemorrhage increases. Conditions such as aneurysm, some type of brain tumors, improper use of drugs, formation of some substances in the blood vessels which are carried along with blood to the brain, brain functional malformation etc. are prime causes of Brain Hemorrhage. Besides, in some cases, the outflow of blood starts very slowly and very small amount of blood spills out of the vessel in the sensitive area of the brain, because of which the patient do not get a severe stroke but he/she may start losing his/her consciousness or may feel dizzy.
There are various treatment options available and these treatments depend upon how quickly the condition of a hemorrhage is indentified. To reduce bleeding, lessen swelling and mitigate pain, drugs may be given. Medications may also be given by doctors to quickly lessen blood pressure; however, this can lead to a severe drop in blood pressure and even can harm patient. Counting on the type and severity of the hemorrhage, surgery may also be required. To treat a condition which can lead to Brain Hemorrhage, there is an array of tests performed. A CT (Computerized Tomography) or MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) scan is performed to obtain the images of the brain part to examine the condition. Other tests like Lumbar puncture, Angiography etc. can also be performed to visualize or look out blood vessels which can assist the doctors to diagnose and care for brain hemorrhage condition.
Furthermore, among different treatment options, the
treatment of Brain Hemorrhage relies upon its position and severity. Among few treatments available for Brain Hemorrhage such as Diagnostic Radiology, Interventional Radiology and Microsurgical Techniques and proper treatment are chosen depending upon the type of brain hemorrhage. Most of times, surgery is performed to eliminate the split blood and stitch the blood vessel to stop the blood leakage. But surgery treatment has its own merits and demerits in which patient can successfully recover from the condition or he/she may lose life. And there is also a chance that patient might have given up on functionality of his/her body organ because of the stroke. Recovery of the patient carries many possibilities and it all depends upon the Luck, Doctor and Seriousness of the Brain Hemorrhage condition.
